This is a hand-pressed lithographic print of a pen and ink drawing by Naomi Blayney. St. Mary’s Lighthouse, built in 1898, is on the tiny St. Mary’s Island, just north of Whitley Bay. The small island is linked to the mainland by a short causeway which is submerged during high tide. The lighthouse was decommissioned in 1984 but is still a popular tourist attraction. The print is signed by the artist and comes with a double mount ready to be framed. Approx. overall size: 10 x 8 inches.
